 Mayer Building Company, LLC, a New Orleans General Contractor, has completed projects for various condominum boards and commercial developers throughout the French Quarter, Lakeview and Uptown. Other clients include Teavana, Lakeside Mall, Michael Kors, Lafaye Properties, Search Influence, Gootee Services, French Quarter Realty, Montagnet Properties and Tutti Frutti. Recent closed out projects include a 3,100 sqare foot high-end retail store in Canal Place, a 3,000 square foot contemporary office build out on Oak Street, a full finishes renovation and voice/data upgrade to a 20,000 square foot commercial property in Mid City , and yet another French Quarter wood and iron balcony replacement.

Ryan's personal resume includes renovations at Le Petit, Harrah’s and residential French Quarter properties. Post Katrina renovations for commercial buildings including a TCA facility on Jeff Davis.  In New York City, Ryan spent 7 years as Project Manager for various commercial projects. Many of the delivered projects were very high-end custom retail shops in the famous SoHo and Meat Packing shopping districts. He learned  there about modernizing the interiors of 100 year old buildings while preserving historically protected facades and setbacks. Ryan has also safely completed the finishes for luxury tower condominiums and built out-of-the ground steel and concrete buildings.

NYC clients include Puma, Tretorn, Matthew Williamson, the Center for Living, Linens-N-Things, Washington Mutual, Fordham University, H&R Block, Target, Sitt Assets, Mancini Duffy Architects, Extra Space Storage, Storage Mart, Elmslie Olser Architects, Vornado, Starwood, Steve Blatz Architects, Mikhail Barishnikov and the New York Jets.

Ryan graduated from Jesuit High School and the University of New Orleans.

Susan Heitmann,  Administrative and Marketing Manager

Susan joined MBC in 2011 and has recently completed a valuable implementation of our new accouting system.  Susan's background in art management and handling and event planning provides MBC with the ability to  multi-task. She handles mutiple tasks with mutiple goals at the same time effectively. Susan's good organizational skills are essential to this important element of being a great General Contractor.
