2012 Look Ahead
December 2011
MBC has closed out the year in a positive way. We delivered the Michael Kors at Canal Place, two residential renovations in the French Quarter, a rental property rehabilitaion Uptown and several preventative maintenance projects downtown. Happy Holidays!

Giving Thanks
November 2011
The Mayer Building Company has much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. As this year draws to a close, we are happy to annouce MBC is growing and continuing to book work. With two new hires in 2011, Susan Eberle and Fred Goodrow, our momentum is building as we continue to deliver projects on time and on budget.

Fall Updates
The Mayer Building Company is back in the Quarter this fall, concurrently renovating two historic single family homes near the dog park, and as always performing fast, reliable service work throughout Orleans and Jefferson Parishes.

Summer Updates
July 2011
The Mayer Building team has turned over a 3000 square foot luxury office build-out to the landlord on time and on budget on Oak Street, a real hot spot for new businesses. Simultaneously we delivered an art gallery in the historic French Quarter on Lower Decatur.

With the record heat, all Mayer personnel has been instructed on operating safely in the sweltering conditions to avoid on-site accidents or injury.

Mayer has secured a nice historic renovation package for our midsummer backlog.

Springing into Action
April 2011
We have completed a historic renovation of an 1837 masonry load-bearing building on Decatur Street. Look for an upcoming article in the PRC's newsletter. We have completed a second-story addition in Lakeview and are currently underway on two commercial contracts in the Riverbend.

Mayer is about to kick off a high-end bathroom retrofit in a condominium near the French Market. One of the unique challenges for the upcoming project is that we are building out the plumbing sysytems without distrubing any of the three adjacent tenants. Mayer tackled this problem with innovative planning and expect to reach our goals in less than a month.

All jobs are underway with a scrutiny on safe building practices. Our history of zero accidents reflects our attention to this important matter.
